Click Load unpacked and select the

Will my data be sent to any server?+
Never. JobBot runs entirely inside your browser. Your profile, keywords, and application history are stored only in Chrome’s local storage on your machine. Nothing leaves your computer.
All jobs show “Skipped” — what’s wrong?+
This is almost always a keyword mismatch. Your configured keywords don’t match the visible job titles. Try clearing all keywords (so the bot applies to everything), or add more keyword variations like
"Software Engineer", "Developer", etc. Also make sure you’ve clicked Save Configuration after making changes.The bot doesn’t start on LinkedIn — why?+
JobBot only activates on job search or collections URLs. Make sure you’re on
linkedin.com/jobs/search or linkedin.com/jobs/collections/... — not the homepage or your profile page. You should see a small notification in the top-right corner when it activates.Can it get my LinkedIn account banned?+
The risk is low if used responsibly. Keep delays at 5–10 seconds, limit to 20–30 applications per day, and use Safe Mode so you’re reviewing each application. Avoid running it 24/7. Treat it as a productivity tool, not a spam machine.
Does it work on Firefox or Safari?+
No. JobBot uses Chrome Extension Manifest V3 APIs which are only available on Chromium-based browsers. It works on Google Chrome, Brave, and Microsoft Edge. Firefox and Safari are not supported.
How do I update to a newer version?+
Download the new ZIP, unzip it and replace the old folder (keep the same location), then go to
